The structured silhouette represents strength, contrasted against sheer, flowing layers that reflect the vulnerability that can exist beneath it. The result is a striking interplay between structure and softness, strength and fragility.
The Story Behind Lavanya
Lavanya is named in honour of Lavanya Chappa, a Melbourne woman whose life was tragically cut short in July 2026 in an alleged act of domestic violence.
Her name is carried through this piece in remembrance of a woman whose life should never be reduced to a statistic — and a life that should not have been lost.
